I'm very proud of my election predictions, and they're reasonably close. But my Town Meeting predictions are usually way off. For that reason, I haven't publicly predicted how Town Meeting would go.
But here's my prediction for tonight: we will be done between 9:30 and 10:00 and that'll be it for the Annual Town Meeting.

A full 25%, or approx. 60, of Shrewsbury's elected Town Meeting representatives, were not in attendance to hear discussion on the last 26 of the 43 warrant articles. Many articles were trivial or not in dispute, but some were important. I would be interested to know who was unable to make it for the 4th night of Town Meeting and if any of them had a good excuse for skipping it.
My prediction was off by about 25 minutes. We adjourned sine die at about 9:05pm.
